Privacy & cookies

This page explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect very little, we never sell it, and nothing optional runs without your permission.
Who is responsible
MoveAir (Barcelona, Spain) is the data controller for this website. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights described below, write to info@themoveair.com and we will reply within a few business days.
The contact form
When you send us an enquiry we receive the details you type in: your name, email address and message, plus optional fields such as phone number, building type, floor area, location and target standard. We use them for one purpose: to understand your request and reply to it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
Messages reach our inbox through Mailjet, a European email provider acting as our processor. We keep enquiries only as long as needed to handle the conversation that follows. We never add you to a newsletter you did not ask for, and we never share your details with anyone else.
Hosting and server logs
The site runs on servers operated by Hetzner in the European Union. Like almost every web server, they keep short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the service against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether anything is broken. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you decline, Google Consent Mode keeps the tool in a cookieless state: nothing is stored on your device and no identifier follows you around.
If you accept, Google processes this data on our behalf, which can involve transfers to the United States covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The reports we see are aggregated. We do not use them to identify individual people.
Cookies
The consent banner is provided by Cookiebot (Usercentrics A/S, Denmark). Your choice is stored in a cookie called CookieConsent for twelve months, so we do not have to ask again on every visit. You can change your mind at any time:
The list below is generated automatically and always reflects the cookies currently in use on this site:
Fonts and other third parties
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare, and a small scrolling library from the jsDelivr CDN. Your browser fetches those files directly, so these services see your IP address as part of the request, the same way any file download works. They set no cookies on this site.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can:
- ask for a copy of the data we hold about you (access)
- have mistakes corrected (rectification)
- have your data deleted (erasure)
- limit what we do with it (restriction)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what happened before
To exercise any of these, email info@themoveair.com. If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work; the EDPB keeps the full list at edpb.europa.eu. For MoveAir the relevant authorities are the Spanish AEPD (www.aepd.es) and the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), since we operate from both Spain and the Netherlands.
Changes to this page
If our tools or practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top. When a change introduces new cookie categories, the banner will ask for your consent again.
